Practical Anatomy and Movement
As a Fitness Professional, your complete understanding of exercise anatomy will allow you to choose the appropriate exercises and stretches optimizing your client’s results and reducing risk of injury.
All participants receive a workbook including anatomy pictures, muscle origin, insertion and joint action, along with exercises and stretches for each muscle.
This one day INTENSIVE workshop will allow you to:
- Increase your understanding of anatomical terms, anatomy and its application to movement and exercise
- Understand the relationship and use of isometric, concentric and eccentric contractions and the effects on joint stability
- Review the joint action of each muscle allowing you to make more effective exercise and movement choices for each client
- Review and experience all exercises and stretching choices along with proper cuing and technique for home, gym or outdoor settings for programming.
- Learn how muscles work together allowing you to ensure proper program design and recovery for your clients
